Speaker Bios:

Richard Laermer is CEO of 20-year-firm RLM Public Relations, one of the only independent PR firms actually fun to work with; find out yourself by following him on Twitter via @laermer. Old enough to be wise and young enough to be handsome, Laermer's latest book is the new and recessionary paperback Punk Marketing  from HarperCollins. Last year’s 2011: Trendspotting for the Next Decade, is also in stores from McGraw-Hill. He is best-selling author of the perennial PR handbook Full Frontal PR and 2002's trendSpotting.  Laermer co-hosted TLC's business makeover show Taking Care of Business and has a following as commentator for Public Radio's Marketplace

His and Kevin Dugan's BadPitchBlog (BadRelease.com), is recipient of PRSA's Bronze Anvil Medal for Best Blog and Cision’s Top 10 PR Blogs citation (2009). R. Yvonne Campos founded Campos Market Research over 20 years ago and is a nationally recognized focus group moderator and facilitator.

Yvonne is a very active member of the Pittsburgh business community and has been recognized locally, regionally and nationally for her entrepreneurial spirit and community involvement. She has led her company to become the premier research company in this market by introducing new and innovative research techniques and unparalleled customer service.

She founded two local Chapters of the Women President's Organization, a peer to peer learning model for women-owned businesses with revenues exceeding one million dollars.

 

Lindsay Zaltman is Managing Director at Olson Zaltman Associates, a research-based marketing strategy firm. 

Lindsay is co-author of the book “Marketing Metaphoria” by the Harvard Business Press.  He has been published or cited in numerous publications including The Harvard Business Review, The New York Times, Fast Company Magazine and The Journal of Business Research.  He has lectured extensively at various companies and conferences around the globe.

Lindsay earned a Masters in Marketing Research from the University of Georgia and a BA in Anthropology from the University of Maine.

 

Dee Schlotter is Brand Manager, Color, Pittsburgh Paints.  She brings more than 6 years of color marketing experience and 12 years of paint experience to The Voice of Color program.  Dee has a Bachelor's of Art in English from the University of Pittsburgh and M.S. in Environmental Science Management from Duquesne University.  Both degrees have enhanced the creative and science parts of marketing The Voice of Color. 

In addition to directing the color program for Pittsburgh Paints, Dee launched the Pure Performance line of environmental paints.    She continues to work closely with the Rachel Carson Homestead foundation and Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater that require environmentally-sound paints and authentic color palettes. 

Dee is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), International Interior Designer Association (IIDA), National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Color Marketing Group. 

She loves spending time with her husband and five-year-old son, riding horses, and hiking.  Dee's color Harmony is:  Leather, Stone & Wood.
